The Regulator
A “Regulator” is a method of time keeping by a non-coaxial method. Which is time measurement by separating the hour, minute and second hands. This method was used by John Harrison, the inventor of the Marine Chronometer in 1735.
Today, The AVeritas Regulator uses this method and design in a contemporary presentation. A bold custom tooled “Thunderbolt” relief pattern is the center of the dial design. Hours are read on the dial below 12 O’clock. Minutes on the center hand, and seconds on the dial above 6 O’clock.
A 17 jewel, highly decorated regulator manual wind movement powers this impressive time piece. The movement boasts perlée patterns, côtes de Genève, and blued screws. Available in two color design choices.
Limited to only 90 pieces.

This top quality, leather has the ideal flexibility and slight sheen ideally suited for fine watch straps. Our tan leather offered on the Regulator is a Buttero smooth full grain calf skin from Italy. This rich tan color will soften with time. The Buttero hides are vegetable tanned, and will develop a rich luster on the surface, and patina wonderfully. These type of skins are known world-wide for their beautiful grain and rich aroma. Each strap is hand cut and stitched to perfection, with either white, or dial accent color stitching. Strap lug width is 22mm. Straps are made to perfection by David Lane Design.
